USA Today’s, Sara Moniuszko, gives a short report on funny comments made by Bill Maher over recent sexual misconduct claims against Joe Biden. Very funny:
Bill Maher came to Joe Biden’s defense during Friday’s episode of “Real Time with Bill Maher” after several women came forward to say the former vice president crossed a line with his unwanted touching.
In his opening monologue, the late night host joked that Biden is “still at large.”
“Women are being urged at night to walk in pairs,” he said.
Maher then went on to say people are “getting a little nit-picky” when it comes to sexual harassment allegations.
“Of course no one likes to be touched unwantingly, and women get a lot more of that than men, but the first person who brought this up said he made her feel gross and uneasy,” he said. “Yeah, you know what makes me feel gross and uneasy? A second Trump term.”
“He’s not Harvey Weinstein or R. Kelly, he’s more like the TSA,” Maher continued, referencing other recent headline-making sexual misconduct cases.
Maher also said that Biden has come “very close” to announcing a 2020 presidential run.
“But we still don’t know if that’s true,” he said, before gearing up for another punchline. “We do know it’s true that his hands have been part of an exploratory committee for decades.”
