Good news out of CBS News where Mayor DeBlasio acknowledges additional medical supplies are headed towards the borough hospitals. Here’s the report:
Mayor DeBlasio says that supplies are on the way to the city (NYC). The Mayor posted video of 20 trucks being loaded with gear headed for hospitals across the five boroughs.
8000 N95 Masks, 18,000 head covers, and 2000 booties are all bound specifically for Elmhurst Hospital in Queens.
A spokesman for the Mayor says, “the safety of our heroic health-care workers is absolutely critical in this fight.”
